SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Mikko Jalas

Mikko is a lecturer in sustainable design in Aalto ARTS responsible for the Creative Sustainability programme. Having a background from the School of ARTS, Mikko continued his journey in the School of Business to explore the question of what constitutes meaningful actions, time and work. He is interested to explore the topics of time and social rhythms from the perspective of sustainability, including, for example, slow food movement and sustainable consumption. The outcomes of personal projects guided by Mikko can include interventions, products and environments as well as the other concrete work. He is also interested in energy efficiency and alternative energy sources such as solar or wind power.

What should I do next?

If you found the tutor you are interested to work with, contact him / her by e-mail and send the brief description of your background and idea for the personal project by end of September.
